Our Caring Dairy programme began in 2003 as part of
Ben & Jerry's long standing commitment to values-led sourcing. From 11 pioneering farmers who helped to develop ambitious sustainable dairy farming practices, to a partnership founded by Ben & Jerry's and later joined by the makers of Beemster cheese, the programme now involves over 500 dairy farmers taking care of over 25,000 cows.
